Kept in your own browser
Birth details for the Vaastu Profile and Vedic charts, your Home Check rooms, your saved Muhurat place and your free question history are worked out and saved in your own browser. They are not sent to our server unless you choose to send a question or a request.
What we collect, and why
- Google sign-in: your name, email address and profile picture, so you can track your review and download your report.
- House plan review: the plan file, your questions, and the optional phone number, city, facing, plot size, floors and stage you enter, to prepare your report.
- Payments: Razorpay processes your payment. We receive the order and payment reference, the amount and whether it succeeded; we never receive your full card, UPI or bank details.
- Questions and puja requests: the name, email, phone, city and details you give, so we or a purohit can answer you.
- Muhurat reminders: if you sign up, your email, name, town and (optionally) birth star, to send you one email a month. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can stop at any time.
- Purohit applications: your contact details, experience, qualifications and any certificate you upload, so we can review your application.
- Approximate location: Cloudflare tells us the country, state and city your connection comes from. We use it to show the right currency and today’s timings. When you pay for a plan review we keep the country and state, which GST law needs on your tax invoice.
Who processes data for us
- Cloudflare hosts the site and stores our database and uploaded files.
- Google handles sign-in.
- Razorpay processes payments and refunds.
- Resend delivers our emails, including your report.
- Anthropic may receive your plan and questions when our analysis tool reads the plan to prepare your report. It processes them only to return the analysis.
- Open-Meteo and BigDataCloud receive a place name you search for, or your coordinates if you tap “use my location”, to find the place. This happens straight from your browser.
- Purohits on our Purohit desk see a question or puja request, with your contact details, only when it is assigned to them.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Cookies
We set one cookie to keep you signed in, and a short-lived one during Google sign-in. The site also uses your browser’s local storage for the items listed at the top of this page.
How long we keep it
We keep your account, plans and reports while you use the service, so you can download your report again. Payment and invoice records are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires. You can ask us to delete everything else at any time.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other laws that apply to you, you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw your consent, or raise a grievance. Write to support@vaastuonline.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are under 18, please use the paid service only with a parent or guardian.
Security
Data travels over HTTPS, uploaded plans and reports are visible only to you, our team and any purohit we ask to review them, and staff access needs a signed-in account with the right role. No system is perfectly secure, so please tell us at once if you see anything wrong.
